Certification Chair Dietrich Borst, PSP Employer: Penske Truck Leasing Role: Regional Security Project Manager Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest where I attended Central Washington University, obtaining degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Hired as a police officer for the City of Edmonds in 2014 where I served as a Firearms instructor, Master Tactics instructor and SWAT team sniper/observer. Earned the PSP certification June of 2025 and left law enforcement that December and began working for Penske Corporate Security January of 2026. |
Membership Chair Mario Quintanilla Employer: Thermal Radar Role: Regional Director - Rocky Mountain Region Mario Quintanilla is the Regional Director for the Rocky Mountain region at Thermal Imaging Radar, covering Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. He works closely with security integrators, end users, and channel partners to support perimeter security, early fire detection, and situational awareness for critical infrastructure, data centers, energy facilities, construction sites, and industrial environments. At Thermal Imaging Radar, Mario helps customers deploy 360-degree thermal detection systems that identify heat signatures, track multiple targets, and integrate seamlessly into existing VMS platforms to expand coverage without added complexity. Prior to Thermal Imaging Radar, he spent nearly a decade in technology and cybersecurity sales at venture-backed companies including Factor, Tactic, Abnormal Security, and Peek, where he helped scale go-to-market strategies, grow revenue, and support customers through complex buying cycles.

Website Administrator Employer: Oportun / Baku Security Consulting LLC Role: Vulnerability Detection Manager / Owner Over a career spanning more than a decade, Shaun has progressed from front-line security operations to senior leadership roles managing global cyber and physical security programs. Beginning as a Flex Officer in 2010, he advanced through GSOC operations, site supervision, and account management before stepping into corporate security advisory roles. His path includes leadership in emergency management during California wildfires, global security systems management, and the convergence of cyber–physical risk programs. Today, as Vulnerability Detection Manager at Oportun, Shaun drives remediation, compliance, and innovation across infrastructure, applications, and vendor ecosystems—while fostering cross-functional collaboration with Legal, HR, Safety, and Facilities.
